A return of an icon for a limited time only. The U-205 Coastal Sailing Jacket made its debut in 1994 from the brands Sea Gear Collection and quickly became a brand icon. A firm favourite at Sea or on the Streets of New York its weather beating capabilities meant it became a go to jacket for the city too. Adopted by a raft of MC's across the 90's it became a Hip Hop icon too.
This reworked Helly Hansen archive piece keeps all of the familiar aesthetic but brings the fabrication up to date with lightweight waterproof Helly Tech fabrication making the jacket more suited to a modern lifestyle. The traditional high collar with hidden hood, covered storm flap pockets and iconic stripe set up remain. As does the subtle embroidered HH logo and the sailing badge to the left sleeve. Iconic stuff all the way from '94.
